It's no surprise I adore Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold novels. I discovered the series last year and have now read just about every novel in the series and to my utter delight am now part of her Review Crew!

Due to the fact that I am reading her books prior to Marry Me at Christmas through the library there are times that I read the novels out of sequence. Which, due to the fact that the books can be read out of order or as stand alone books, is fine with me.

Last night I finished When We Met;

Which is the love story of Taryn Crawford, one of the partners of SCORE and Angel Whittaker, a former sniper and trainer of body guards.

Can two people who believe that they can never fall in love, for two completely different reasons, find their happily ever after? Or will they discover that lightning never strikes twice?

Sit back and enjoy, whether this is your first or fifty-first visit to Fool's Gold I believe you will be delighted.

I chose Montana Rebel by Debra Salonen on Netgalley by accident. I'd thought that it was part of a different series. But, I am glad that I did for I found it to be a wonderful find.

Montana Rebel is the 9th book in Salonen's Big Sky Mavericks series and while I'm sad that I missed the first 8 books, I can tell you that it was a great stand alone book.

Justin is Nikki's childhood crush, and to her dismay he'd barely even knew that she existed. That was until he had led a climb, during which she'd had a crippling accident.

Years later the two find themselves at a masquerade ball. What will happen when Justin not only finds out who the mystery woman is, but finds out that she is his new bosses assistant?

This is a sweet romance that moves quickly and will leave you wanting to return for another adventure with the Big Sky Mavericks of Marietta, Montana.

Vulnerable is the 4th installment in the Morgan's of Nashville series by Mary Burton.

In this thriller it is 5 years after three teens went to a park for a science project and only one walked out.

The father of the young man who went missing had the case reopened and forensic technician Georgia Morgan and homicide detective Jake Bishop are given lead on this case. Sometimes, that which was left carefully buried in the past is brought to light with the first hint of a fresh investigation.

I enjoy Mary Burton's writing and was not let down by her latest release.

Charlotte's Story by Laura Benedict starts off as a bleak, heart wrenching story told by a woman who has faced one of the worst things someone can suffer. The loss of a child. This is not a sweet, quick read meant for the faint of heart.

What follows is an cryptic tale that drew me deeper and deeper into a dark and twisted report of the mysteries that Charlotte was faced with.

So many more questions regarding Bliss House are answered only to leave me with more.

It's been awhile since I read Bliss House. But, with my copy of Charlotte's Story back in hand I thought I'd re-release my review.

I loved this book it was an interesting mixture of thriller and paranormal with a great buildup to the ending. If you, like myself, are a fan of Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Richard Matheson then I think you're going to enjoy this book as well.

My biggest problem with it was my inability to put it down.

The characters are well rounded, the plot quick and the tempo fast.

Don't miss out on Laura Benedict's Bliss House

Grab a cup of your favorite tea or coffee, curl up in front of the fireplace or dig your toes in the sand and take a trip to White Cliff Bay.

Christmas at Lilac Cottage by Holly Martin is a delightful Christmas tale that can be enjoyed any time of the year

I read the second book in the White Cliff Bay series (Snowflakes on Silver Cove) first  fell in love and had to go back and find the first book.

Henry is a single father who has moved his teenage daughter clear across country for a new life and has promised not to bungle things up.

Penny has decided to rent out her annex and can't wait for the new couple to move in. Only she gets more than she expected when they finally arrive.

Will the magic of the holiday season bring these two together, or will the ghosts or their pasts hold them back?

The Study of Seduction by Sabrina Jeffries is a clever historical romance.  This is the second book in the Sinful Suitors series but can be read as a standalone book.

I found myself caught up in the story and the characters. Edwin and Clarissa are very likable couple whom you find yourself pulling for.

Who can resist a tale involving silly hats, a duel and automatons?

The Friends We Keep by Susan Mallery is the second installment of the Mischief Bay series.

This is an emotional roller coaster. While Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold novels are great light reads that I can read in a single night, the novels of Mischief Bay take longer because they are a heavier read.

In this novel we follow:

Nichole Lord, a divorced single mother, who can understand why her ex-husband doesn't want anything to do with her, but can't comprehend what the man is thinking when he doesn't want to spend any time with their son.

Hayley Batchelor has little trouble getting pregnant, what she struggles with is the staying pregnant. Both her husband and her doctor want her to get a hysterectomy to save her life, what they don't understand is that there is no life without her own child.

Gabby Schaefer has been a stay at home mom for her five year old twins and is more than ready to get back to work, at least part time. But, her plans are put in jeopardy by a shocking family announcement.

You will be drawn into Mischief Bay.

The Doll's House by M.J. Arlidge is the third book in the Helen Grace series.

Dark haired, blue eyed young women are disappearing and Helen Grace smells a serial suspect. Can she find him before his latest victim meets her end?

The Doll's House is a dark, psychological thriller that will keep you guessing till the riveting end.

Judging by the chapter sample of Seraphina by Rachel Hartman this is  a beautifully crafted book. While this is based solely on a single sample of the novel, I am hoping that the rest of the book is as well written.

Serafina is hiding a deep secret, she is a dragon hiding in the human world.

I received this from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
